I have high hopes for GMMG but if he screws this up he should be fired on spot if he can't get a GM to pony up one this offers then..... i don't want to continue this thought lets see what happens.

I'm guessing either they said "we have better offers so unless you raise yours a bunch you're out" or it's an error in the tweet and the Canes told the Sharks they were out.

Okay I'll preface this by saying my head will explode from a brain aneurysm if Timo went to FV (I don't think GMMG wants the reaction to that; seeing Timo 4 times a year wearing a stupid Gold helmet is beyond horrifying) BUT if he's considering it, what would it take for anyone on the site to stomach it actually happening?

Per Sheng it sounds like it's a 3 team trade and the NHL's verifying cap compliance for all teams involved. I don't see it being an issue on the Sharks end considering they hired one of capfriendly's top guys in the offseason, but you never know.

I mentioned this in the other thread but I figured that since this post could cause some issues I'd post it here separately. My plans for moderation for this forum are to do as little of it as possible. I won't do anything (ban/delete post/etc) if someone's negative about the team, if they say something I disagree with, or anything like that. The only things I intend to moderate is if people are extremely disrespectful, and even that it will probably take a decent number of instances. My target is to be lazy with it. I don't think it'll be an issue here, just figured I'd clear it up.

Forgot to mention that I got to enjoy calling out my stepdad for his hypocrisy because of this game. I was talking about the event to a lot of people and decided to call him up and talk about it. I mentioned Bonds, Mullins, and Fingers being there and he talked about how Mullins was there while they were still good. He spent about 5 minutes talking about how he watches sports for an escape and doesn't like when politics get shoved down his throat, going off on tangents about Disney, etc. He was continuing his rant when I interrupted him and pointed out that we were having a conversation about sports and he interrupted it to shove his politics down my throat. He tried to argue it was different and then brought up the whole Provorov pride night situation and how that was an example of the NHL doing the same thing. I asked him how a pride night was different than him coming with me for Jewish Night and he didn't have an answer.
