One minor thing that might give hope to Sharks fans for next year is Seattle started with a defense first, get goaltending and they stunk. This year pretty much all offense and they might make the playoffs. It turns that quickly.

Holy molly the Kraken is last in PK and 20th in PP wth are these special teams. Nah, they're way better than that. They're only second to last in PK. This started as just me being a smart ass but I looked at the numbers and wow, Vancouver is awful on the PK. They're at 65.2% compared to #2 with 72.1%. The next several are 73%, 73%, 73.7%, 74.6%, 74.6%, 74.7%, 75.2%, 76.2%, 76.2%, 76.3%. 1 to 2 is a 6.9% gap and 2 to 12 is a 4.2% gap. |

Not getting Randy and crew today, blacked out on Center Ice so I get the game on Root Sports with John Forslund. He's really good. Eddie O is a sometimes analyst which is great.

This is the exact reason why I keep telling people I love our chances of finishing dead last in the league if we trade EK and Timo Time. All of the bottom 7 or so teams are clearly sellers, but no one will lose nearly as much as we will by selling off assets, and it's not even close. Cooch and Hertl will pick up a few extra goals that those two likely would've potted, but our offense will essentially crater if we trade both (plus Bonino, Reimer, etc.). We might not reach the bottom if we keep EK, but I would put money on us finishing dead last if we trade both, and I'm not even a betting man. |

Nah. He just has no ability to finish. Feel bad for the guy, but we all know what he brings. He's not going to get better at that aspect of his game. I hope Grier recognizes this and doesn't sign him to another contract after his current one expires. |
